Tina Williams Brewer: Stories of Grace is the first major museum exhibition of the artist's work in the Southeast. Helena Island, drawing inspiration from this community’s heritage and present-day dynamics. She spent time on the South Carolina coast exploring St. Tina Williams Brewer is known for her story quilts that use symbolism, textiles, and fabrics to explore African American history, generational healing, and the spirituality of her culture.
